Mr Naidu was also known for “backstabbing” the then Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, he recalled in the Assembly . Mr Raju and Mr Naidu had joined forces to topple the government and were guilty of sedition, he said.

Mr Raju and Mr Naidu had joined forces to topple the government and were guilty of sedition, he said. Advisor (Public affairs) to the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that Mr Naidu who was raising a hue and cry about the sedition case against Mr Raju. Mr Naidu was now claiming that he had never heard in this three-decade long political career sedition cases being booked  against Opposition leaders but it was during his rule that he orchestrated the registering of 12 Sedition cases against Telangana Chief Minister. Mr Naidu’s Government filed a sedition case against  the then MLA Giddi Eswari in connection with anti Bauxite  agitation that spread across tribal area
